This College has the rare distinction of conducting “OPEN HEART WITH RK” in June 2011. Sri Vemuri Radha Krishna MD of ABN-Andhra Jyothi visited the institution to conduct the same under Youngistan. The topic was “Role of women in Indian Politics”. In tune with the spirit of the topic , the institution invited Smt. Dr. Killi Kruparani MP of Srikakulam Parliamentary Constituency to grace the occasion as the chief guest of the Day. Dr. K.Kruparani and Sri Vemuri Radha Krishna donned the roles of moderators or facilitators .

At the end of the deliberations , it was finally concluded that India had been progressing on sound lines in all spheres including politics. If women who constitute almost 50% of the total population were also given a chance to join politics , the progress of the nation would be more satisfying and we could achieve social equality , economic equality , gender equality and also empower women in a better manner. All the dignitaries appreciated the drive , initiative and oratorical skills of the student community.
