Analog Communications Lab

This lab is a part of II Year II semester. The main objective of this lab is to gain the practical hands on experience by exposing the students to various ANALOG modulation and demodulations techniques. The students will have and understanding of the concepts involved in transmission and reception of the signals in communication. 

It deals with the designing all types of analog Modulation and Demodulation techniques in simulator with the help of MATLAB. The Lab is well equipped with all the required Trainer Kits on which students can perform their experiments and test the different techniques available presently. The student projects and research work is supported in this Lab.

Digital Communications Lab

This lab is a part of III Year I semester .The main objective of this lab is to gain the practical hands on experience by exposing the students to various DIGITAL modulation and demodulations techniques. The students will have an understanding of the concepts involved in transmission and reception of the signals in communication. 

The Lab is well equipped with all the required Trainer Kits on which students can perform their experiments and test the different techniques available presently.

Digital Signal Processing Lab

This lab is part of IV year I semester. The main aim of the lab is to gain the practical hands on experience by exposing the students to various signals & systems concepts in MATLAB and gives an idea how to generate various signals & verify the properties of signals & systems live linearity, stability, time invariance, conclusions, corrections etc. This also equipped with DSP processors TMS320C67XX, TMS320C54XX and Code composer studio simulator.

This lab is also used to finding the transforms of signals, location of poles & zeros on Z-plane & S-plane & extraction of signals masked by noise. The student projects and research work is supported in this Lab.

Electronic Circuits & PDC Lab

This is combination of two different domains, those are EC & PDC. This lab is a part of II Year II semester. EC lab deals both the Hardware and Software part. This lab focuses on the working of power amplifiers, Voltage Regulators and their applications and they are simulated using PSPICE Software. The various power amplifiers include CLASS A, B, C and Push pull configurations.

PDC lab deals with Pulse shaping, Multivibrators, Oscillators, Switching Circuits…etc. The Lab is well equipped with the required Trainer Kits over which students perform experiments. Students are also guided in performing the MINI projects.

Electronic Computer-Aided Design Lab

This lab is a part of III Year II semester and it is provided with Xilinx ISE.to implement digital ICs using VHDL language. The lab isalso equipped with Xilinx ISE, CPLD and FPGA Kits used for implementation of VHDL code. This lab is equipped with 36 systems with Xilinx Simulator.

IC Applications Lab

This lab is part of III year I semester. The main objective of this lab course is to gain the practical hands on experience by exposing the students to various linear IC applications. The students will have an understanding of the concepts involved in various linear integrated circuits and their various applications.Through this lab the students will get a thorough understanding of various linear ICs and finally this also introduces some TTL ICs for digital circuit applications especially the 741 operational amplifier and its various applications. The lab also introduces to the students 555 timer and its applications, various voltage regulators.

Electronic Devices and Circuits Lab

This lab is part of II year I semester. The main aim of the lab is to expose the student with practical awareness for the components like diode, transistor (BJT &FET) & study its characteristics. Through this lab the students will get a through understanding of various applications of electronic components.m

Acknowledge of basic concepts of electricity & units of electricity, network theorems, ohms law & Kirchhoff’s law are required.

Micro Processors and Micro Controllers Lab

This lab is a part of III Year II semester. This lab is well equipped with all the microprocessors and micro controllers. It consists of performing Intel Assembly language on processors of 8086,8085,8051(TRAINER KITS) and also by using interfacing modules like stepper Motor, traffic lights, elevators, 7 segment display etc. Final year students have performed much application for their Project works on micro controllers (8051)

Micro Wave and Optical Communications Lab

This lab is part of IV year I semester. The main objective of this lab is to gain the practical hands on experience by exposing the students to various microwave components and optical fibers. The students will have an understanding of the concepts involved in transmission and reception of the microwave signals, characteristics of components.

Acknowledge of analog communications, digital communications, electromagnetic theory, microwave engineering, optical communications is required.
